The Hotel was originally built as a private Country House during the 17th century, during which period Oliver Cromwell came to stay. It is said that he was great friends with the owner and indeed even helped him design the house.

Specialising in traditional seasonal cuisine using only the finest and, wherever possible, local ingredients, our restaurant, offers an inspired menu of gourmet food.
